Final Destination 2

I am a fan of all three Final Destination movies, but I think my favorite is #2. There is a crash scene in there that is awesome. I thought the movie was well written, and very fun and keeps you on the edge of your seat. Check out the trailer, I don't think you will be disappointed. I recommend all 3 movies, but if you only got time for one, I would go with Final Destination 2.

Cursed

It's almost Halloween, so I think it fitting we post our favorite scary movies!

One that comes to mind is Cursed. This is a werewolf movie, done very well. The script was great, the story was fairly unpredictable which is a major plus in my book. It has a few actors you may recognize, Lex Luthor from smallville is in it, a guy form the new tv show The Fringe. Peter Petrelli is in it from Heroes (his role was funny!) Check it out!

Step Brothers

Two spoiled guys become competitive stepbrothers after their single parents get hitched.

I was rolling in laughter throughout most of the movie, it was hilarious! It was better than what I was expecting. It had plenty of foul language and was somewhat crude, so if that bothers you then this movie isn't for you.

Run, Fatboy, Run

OMG I love this movie! Please, please, please check it out. It's just a funny, feel good movie. But done so well. Simon Pegg is an absolute pimp. As always. If you'd like to check it out but don't have a copy, let me know and I'll hook you up! :)

Taken

For a movie that I hadn't even heard of, I couldn't believe how good it was! I thought the quality matched the first Jason Bourne movie, The Bourne Identity.

A former spy relies on his old skills to save his estranged daughter, who has been forced into the slave trade. The fight scenes were awesome and original. The script was clever and had some great lines in it too. A must see!

Serenity

This is probably one of my top 5 movies of all time, maybe even #1. The script was awesome and perfectly written. It also beat out Star Wars for the #1 Sci-fi movie of all time. Plenty of action and humor. Awesome special effects. The actors fit in perfectly.

P2

I found this movie rather enjoyable! The acting in it was superb, and the movie was exciting all throughout and well written.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall

Another Jed Apatow flick. But this is my favorite so far. Hilarious! Better than both 40 Year Old Virgin and Knocked Up.

Young People F&@#ing

Indy flicks can be pretty hit and miss(mostly miss). But this one caught me off guard. It was really well done. The story has something like 6 different story lines. And it continually jumps between them. Something I find extremely irritating. But they not only pulled it off, they did it with flying colors. They capture your interest and refuse to let go. The characters are great. Well developed and lovable. And the story is high paced and anything but boring(not to mention a little naughty). It's an indy film but the only thing keeping it from going main stream is the content. And the title. I give this one 9 out of 10. Which is high as you can get without hitting my top 5.

Mirrors

This movie was decent. Keifer Sutherland did well for a scary movie. The special effects were good and the movie was good enough to keep me interested throughout the entire movie. The movie flowed well and wasn't predictable which was good. I think the ending could have been a little better, but was still pretty interesting.
